🐔 Cluckly

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 19, 2026

The short version: your flock's data stays on your phone. Cluckly has no account, no login, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. The only data that ever leaves your device is anonymous purchase validation when you buy or restore the one-time unlock.

Who we are

Cluckly ("the app", "we") is an egg-counting and flock-record app for backyard chicken keepers, available on iOS and Android. Contact: sagalab.support@gmail.com.

Data stored on your device only

Everything you put into Cluckly is stored locally on your phone and is never sent to us or to any server:

We cannot see, access, or recover this data. It exists only on your device and in backup files you make yourself.

The one exception: purchase processing

Cluckly offers a single one-time in-app purchase ("Full Flock Unlock"). To process and restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-infrastructure service. When you buy or restore, RevenueCat receives:

This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms — we never see your payment details.

What we don't do

Notifications

If you enable reminders (health notes, backup reminders), they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.

Photos

When you attach a photo to a hen's profile, the app asks for permission to access the photo you select. The photo is copied into the app's private storage on your device and goes nowhere else.

Data deletion

Deleting the app deletes all app data from your device (keep a backup file first if you want your records!). Purchase records are retained by Apple/Google and RevenueCat according to their own policies; they contain no flock data. To ask about the anonymous purchase record, contact us at the email below.

Children

Cluckly does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ / Everyone and contains no ads, social features, or external links a child could act on inside the app.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Since the app is local-first by design, meaningful changes are unlikely.
